FFL TRANSFERS
Fore River Tactical (FRT) is pleased to assist our customers by accepting FFL Transfers. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, please carefully review the following policies and procedures prior to placing an online order.
This transfer policy applies only to firearms purchased through outside retailers and shipped to FRT. Firearms purchased directly from Fore River Tactical’s online store for local pick-up are not subject to transfer fees.
Transfer Fees
Standard Firearms (Pistols, Revolvers, Rifles, and Shotguns): $50 per item
NFA Firearms (Class III items): $100 per item
All fees are due at the time of transfer.
Transfer Process
Order Placement
When purchasing a firearm online, select Fore River Tactical as your receiving dealer.
The selling retailer should contact us at support@forerivertactical.com to request a copy of our FFL before shipment.
Delivery & Processing
Once your firearm has been delivered to FRT, please allow up to 72 hours for intake, verification, and logging into our system.
After processing is complete, you will receive a phone call notifying you that your firearm is ready for pick-up.
Pick-Up Requirements
At the time of pick-up, you must complete all required federal and state background checks and paperwork.
A valid, government-issued photo ID with current address is required.
Transfers must be completed in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Storage & Abandonment Policy
Once notified, you have 30 calendar days to complete your firearm transfer and pick up your item.
After 30 days, a $10 per day storage fee will be assessed until the total value of the firearm has been reached.
If storage fees meet or exceed the value of the firearm, the firearm will be considered abandoned and sold to recover costs.
Storage fees are non-refundable.

FRT does not accept transfers from the following retailers:
BattleHawk Armory
Family Firearms
We reserve the right to refuse shipments from additional retailers at our discretion. This list may be updated at any time without prior notice.
Important Notes
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the firearm being transferred is compliant with all applicable laws.
Transfer fees are non-refundable, regardless of background check outcome or customer cancellation.
Customers must complete transfers personally; firearms will not be released to third parties unless otherwise authorized by law.
FRT assumes no liability for delays caused by shipping carriers, retailers, or errors in customer-provided information.
